LITTLE NOISY MINER

Adrina Anwar, in her own words, creates wonky line drawings. Based in Sydney, she illustrates the little things in life and carefully places them on prints, mugs, bags and cards. Adrina had a website, but wasn’t selling her products online. She approached me to refine her visual identity, advise her on product photography and build her a simple website from which she could start selling.

We started with a vision board and looked at a number of fresh modern website designs before settling on a scandi-inspired feel with lots of white space and an almost monochrome palette to reflect her black and white line drawings. I asked her to draw some images for the site, so her work would be evident within the design. The typography combines hand lettering with a rounded, modern, almost friendly font.

Her website and online identity now represent her quirky drawing style perfectly and have allowed her online sales to increase.
